NH Septic Laws and Rules | ||

newly-adopted septic design and installation rules. State laws, regulations and rules affecting septic systems within New Hampshire are controlled by the N.H. Department N. H. Department of Environmental Services' Sub-surface Systems Bureau, 6 Hazen Drive, PO Box 95, Concord, NH 03302-0095, Tel. (603) 271-2503. New Hampshire state law Revised Statutes Annotated 485-A is the law regulating the design and installation of sub-surface waste disposal systems, and legislation enabling establishment of specific rules. N. H. Department of Environmental Services' EnvWs-1000 Rules determine how septic systems are to be designed and constructed.
